Hello & Welcome

Hello and welcome. Firstly thank you so much for investing your precious time in reading this and indeed visiting my website.

My name is Chloe I am the 32 year old mum of one 3 year old and currently pregnant with baby number two! Some things about me,,, Well I love being outside, particularly on the Northumberland coast. I enjoy cooking, however my meals are certainly less refined than they were before children. I’m rubbish at staying on top of washing, hate pairing socks and I love (and I mean LOVE) cheese!

I created my first business “mama wellness with Chloe” in Sept 2021 My aim was to provide knowledge and education to North East women that wanted to continue their movement journey during and after pregnancy. Inspired by own experience living in Northumberland where I felt really isolated and unsure of what I should and should not be doing to stay active whilst keeping my body and baby safe.

My business has evolved since its initial creation as I embarked on my first yoga qualification during maternity leave (always a dream of mine) I have since left my previous role in the commercial world and have spent the last 3 years growing and developing my knowledge of all things movement, yoga, mindfulness AND combining that with my personal training qualification (gained much earlier in life) and my pre and post natal exercise studies.

I have worked in local Studios and Leisure Centres teaching face to face yoga classes and specialist pre and post natal yoga and core stability classes. I have also worked along side the North East and Cumbria NHS trust to deliver a comprehensive series of yoga sessions including Beginners, Restorative and Hatha yoga classes over the last 12 months. This initiative was created to support staff well being both physical and mental. We have reached over 200 students and I now have a lovely group of regular followers.

I feel this is ONLY the beginning for me and in the last 6 months I have started to build my online presence designing my website with a subscription online service for yoga clients and an online pregnancy course in the pipe line (with a postnatal course to follow) as I navigate through my current pregnancy.

I am passionate about sharing up to date and evidence based information to those navigating birth, post partum period and beyond! I also believe in the energetic body as well as the physical body and am a HUGE advocate of the breath and mindfullness techniques I have learnt through my yoga studies but not in the airy fairy way! I try to teach these techniques in a way that allows people to intergrate them into everyday life to improve their wellbeing and that of their families too. My yoga classes provide a combination of strength and stability work as well as increasing flexibility. My approach is holistic and guided by both my experiences and that of my clients.
