What You’ll learn about Birth:

In this 2 hour in-person workshop, you’ll:

Understand how your baby journeys through the pelvis in labour 

Practice movements that you can do to support your baby’s positioning in labour

Learn simple movements that will alleviate pelvic girdle pain in pregnancy and support your post birth recovery 

Explore labour positions with your birth partner so that you know what works for you before you go into labour 

Practice techniques that will support your birthing hormones including breathing techniques for labour 

What Makes This Birth Workshop Different?

This in person class in Northumberland is so much more than sitting in a circle listening. 

We will move and embody the bio mechanics of labour whilst gaining an understanding of birth physiology - the journey baby makes to arrive earth side!  This workshop combines childbirth education and answers questions like what actually is a contraction and holistic birth practices like breathing and mindfulness to ensure you feel prepared and confident as you approach birth.

When in pregnancy should I attend?

Ideally from 28 weeks onward—but the earlier you learn, the longer you can benefit from the tools.

Can I attend alone or with a birth partner?

Absolutely. Partners are encouraged but not required.

Do I need to be doing pregnancy yoga already?

Not at all. This workshop is accessible for all movement levels. There is no “flowing” just positioning of the body.
